Bypassing Surgeries Using EDTA Chelation Therapy

Chelation is a method of removing certain heavy metals from the bloodstream like mercury and lead which helps in preventing poisoning from the same; it is also the procedure of removing deposited calcium from inner walls of coronary arteries so as to prevent the certain expensive and life threatening medical procedures like bypass surgery.

Chelation therapy as many believe is valid and promising alternative to medical procedures like root canal therapy, bypass surgery, etc. and does not require the need to visit hospitals, it can just be taken in form of a pills or series of intravenous infusions containing necessary compounds.

EDTA or ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid is a synthetic amino acid and is an extremely important organic compound for chelation. EDTA binds with divalent and trivalent metallic ions to form stable ring like structures which are water soluble. Compounds like mercury and lead which are called heavy metals cannot be metabolized by the body and interfere with many important physiological procedures of our body.

Hence, EDTA chelation plays a crucial role in getting rid of these compounds. Later on it was found out that EDTA chelation can also help remove deposited calcium from arteries. Apart from this many people believe that chelation has other benefits like increased collateral blood circulation, decreased blood viscosity, slower aging but none of these has been fully confirmed by successful trials.
